The Indian Premier League 2025 mega auction came to an end after two days of drama, new records and what not. The two-day extravaganza held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, saw a total of 182 players making their way into new franchises. Not only this, but the auction also broke many previous records, including the record of selling the most expensive player, overall amount being spent on the auction and many more.
Rishabh Pant, the former Delhi Capitals skipper, went to Lucknow Super Giants for a huge sum of INR 27 Crore. With this bid, he became the most expensive player in the history of the cash-rich league. Not only this, but the auction also saw Vaibhav Suryavanshi becoming the youngest player to acquire a bid. The 13-year-old was sold to Rajasthan for a huge sum of INR 1.10 Crore. While most franchises were successful in making their dream teams, a few players shockingly went unsold.
