According to the stats which were released on Tuesday, Victor Osimhen's goal over the weekend is one of the greatest headers in Italian Serie A history. The Nigerian international reached a height of 258cm for the goal, which was better than Cristiano Ronaldo's famous header (256cm) against Sampdoria football club in 2019. Among the many headers scored by the Nigerian this season, his second-half header against Spezia football club over the weekend is now rated as one of his best for Luciano Spalletti-led team.
The former Wolfsburg football club star was able to jump through Spezia football club defenders and goalkeeper Dragowski to double his team's lead in the 68th minute before he scored his second goal of the game in the 73rd minute to end the match 3-0.
Notably, Osimhen is currently the highest goal scorer in the Italian Serie A this season with 16 goals. This performance from the Napoli Striker has impressed Premier League clubs and Ronaldo’s former club Manchester United look very much interested in securing the Nigerian’s services.
According to reports, Man United under Erik Ten Hag are prepared to break the bank and match the British transfer record Chelsea paid for Enzo Fernandez by launching a £107m bid for Victor Osimhen.
