ViruZz, the Spanish social media star and boxer, is facing a potential suspension and fine after he reportedly tested positive for illegal substances following his fight against DK Money at Misfits Boxing 7 on May 13, 2023. ViruZz won the fight with a spectacular comeback knockout in the second round, but his victory might be tainted by the doping allegations.
The Spanish fighter's come-from-behind knockout of Instagram influencer DK Money at Saturday's Misfits Boxing 7 event was one of the most brutal highlights of the weekend. DK Money dropped him with a right hand early in Round 2, but ViruZz quickly came back to knock the American to the ground with a left-right combination that left him down for a while.

According to reports, excess testosterone was found in Viruzz’s body, which enhances a fighter's strength. Testosterone is responsible for increased muscle mass, which in turn increases strength. After a complete investigation by The PBA, ten times the amount of testosterone was found in his body. The YouTuber’s Misfits 007 win is expected to be overturned on Monday, August 7. ViruZz has not yet commented on the allegations but is expected to do so soon.
If the allegations are true, ViruZz could face a lengthy suspension and a hefty fine from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which oversees boxing in the state. He could also lose his purse for the fight, which was reported to be $2 million. Additionally, he could face legal action from DK Money, who suffered a severe concussion and a broken jaw from the knockout.
The doping allegations against ViruZz have cast a shadow over the event and the credibility of Misfits Boxing, which is a new promotion that aims to showcase the best of social media boxing. Misfits Boxing has not yet issued an official statement on the matter, but it is expected to cooperate with the authorities and conduct an internal investigation.
