India vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane took a brilliant one-handed catch to dismiss Jermaine Blackwood on the third day of the West Indies vs India Test. The India veteran, who is a right-hander, showed great reflexes and moved to his left to take a one-handed blinder, sending Blackwood back to the pavilion.
The stunning catch came on the third delivery of the 87th over, when Ravindra Jadeja bowled over the wicket. The ball took a sharp turn and landed outside leg stump. The ball moved past India wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan but Rahane, who was standing in the middle of the first and second slip, showed alertness and completed a brilliant one-handed catch. With this, Blackwood, who managed to score 20 off 92 deliveries was forced to walk back to the dressing room.
