The Manchester United winger, Alejandro Garnacho, hit the iconic “Sleep” celebration of Cristiano Ronaldo after winning a game of pool. Heralded as one of the youngest rising stars in the world of football, the 19-year-old Argentinian has taken his game to the next level in the ongoing season with the Red Devils.
In the 2023-24 campaign for Manchester United, Alejandro Garnacho has captured the imagination of the Old Trafford faithful, making a positive difference in their fortunes on the football pitch. During his 44 appearances in all competitions this season, he has scored nine goals and provided five assists, while playing over 3,000 minutes worth of football.
During the FA Cup semi-final at the Wembley Stadium in London, Alejandro Garnacho played a vital role in giving Manchester United a 3-0 lead over Coventry City before getting substituted for Antony in the 66th minute. Notably, Garnacho had questioned his removal from the Bournemouth game in the Premier League, ending in a 2-2 draw at the Vitality Stadium, but they seemingly buried the hatchet during their brief exchange before he sat down at the dugout.
Shortly after his substitution, the carnage ensued as Coventry City made an epic comeback with the scoreline reading 3-3 at the end of normal time. After the competition of the extra time, Manchester United managed to reach the final of the FA Cup final with a 4-2 win in the penalty shootout.
Alejandro Garnacho will be playing next for Manchester United against Burnley on Saturday, April 27, in a Premier League clash at Old Trafford.
