South Africa on Sunday defeated England by 5 wickets in 2nd ODI and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the home series. The hosts chased down the mammoth total of 343, courtesy of a century from skipper Temba Bavuma and an unbeaten half-century from David Miller. While fans witnessed some big hitting from both sides, a bitter incident between Jos Buttler and Rassie van der Dussen also stole the limelight.

During South Africa's chase, Jos Buttler got angry with the SA batter for blocking him from taking a catch.

Buttler confronted Van der Dussen during the innings. The video of the exchange between the two has now viral on social media.

During Adil Rashid's over Van der Dussen inside-edged the ball onto his pad and up into the air. But as Buttler attempted to take the catch, Van der Dussen got in his way as he looked to see where the ball had gone. After the incident, when Buttler was walking towards his position, der Dussen said something which wasn't picked by the stump mic. But the rest of the conversation between the two got picked up.

"What's your problem Rassie? It's not all about you all the time." Van der Dussen then replied: "No, it's about you."

"I'm allowed to try and catch the ball," added Buttler. "What do you want me to do?" The umpires then intervened, with one of them saying, "Okay, calm down!"

Notably, Buttler and van der Dussen played together for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2022. The SA player was released by the franchise before the IPL 2023 mini-auction.
