Red Bull put a smile on a young fan’s face after inviting him to their team garage during the FP2 session at the Hungarian Grand Prix on July 21, Friday. He also got to meet Sergio Perez, who had crashed his RB19 during the FP1 session, which led to the boy crying his eyes out in the grandstand at the Hungaroring.
On Friday afternoon, during his flying lap, the Mexican driver had a freak moment on turn five, making his car spin straight into the tyre wall. In the immediate aftermath, after the stewards cleaned up the track for the session to recommence, the TV cameras caught a young fan, who was wearing the AlphaTauri t-shirt, tearing up no bounds, while sitting beside his father in a Sergio Perez t-shirt.

Moreover, Sergio Perez didn’t have the best of times in the RB19 during the FP2 session on Friday either. He finished in 18th place, seven behind his Red Bull teammate Max Verstappen, who didn’t do the low-fuel run during this session on the soft tyres. It was Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, and Pierre Gasly, who topped the charts at the Hungarian Grand Prix FP2 session.
