On Friday, June 28, the recent episode of WWE SmackDown from the Madison Square Garden in New York City saw the NBA stars Tyrese Haliburton of the Pacers and Jalen Brunson of the Knicks nearly come to blows outside the ring. It was Logan Paul, who brought Haliburton to the show to help him get the brass knuckles, to use in a triple-threat men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match against LA Knight and Santos Escobar, but Brunson put a stop to it.
In the lead-up to WWE SmackDown, Jey Uso, Carmelo Hayes, Andrade, and Chad Gable had already qualified for the men’s Money in the Bank match, which will go down at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada, one week from this Saturday on July 6. The fifth spot in the men’s MITB match was up for grabs at the Madison Square Garden in a triple-threat match between the WWE United States Champion Logan Paul, LA Knight, and Santos Escobar.
During the closing moments of this men’s MITB qualifying match, when Logan Paul asked Tyrese Haliburton to give him the brass knuckles, the Indiana Pacers went ahead to get them from his entourage at ringside. Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks saw him before hopping the barricade to get in his way.
Haliburton and Brunson got into a massive argument before a plethora of WWE referees got in their way to ensure that the things didn’t go completely out of hand. Amidst all the chaos, LA Knight went for the BFT on Santos Escobar, which led to Logan Paul trying to roll him up for a quick three count.

But LA Knight managed to escape the predicament before he rolled up Logan Paul with a handful of his tights to secure the big win. With that, Knight became the fifth participant in the men’s MITB match, aiming to win his first world title in WWE.
