Neeraj Chopra is all set to return to action after recovering from an injury in the upcoming Diamond League event in Lausanne, Switzerland. This event will mark the sixth event of the Diamond League, which began in Doha in May. 


Also reckoned as the ‘Golden Boy’ in India, began his season by winning the Doha Diamond League 2023 on Friday, May 5 at the Qatar Sports Club with a record-breaking effort of 88.67m on his first attempt. Neeraj Chopra, famed for his powerful starts, competed on a clear night in Doha and, on his first attempt, came very close to his personal best and national javelin record of 89.94m. It was the second time Neeraj Chopra won a Diamond League meeting in his career. His first victory came in Lausanne last year.
