The Indian Premier League (IPL) not only witnesses some exciting cricket action but also becomes a medium for players to bond with fellow members of the cricket fraternity. There are so many examples of friendships and bonds that have been formed or nurtured in this competition. Be it AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli or Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard, all of them have come closer thanks to sharing dressing rooms for their respective IPL franchises.
In a new season that is witnessing some new relationships being formed after the IPL 2022 mega auction, Yuzvendra Chahal had a great start to the tournament for his new team - Rajasthan Royals. The leg-spinner scalped 3 wickets for 22 runs as RR beat SRH by 61 runs at the MCA Stadium in Pune.
Post the match, the Jaipur-based franchise's fielding coach Dishant Yagnik was seen teasing Chahal with the chant "10 rupay ki pepsi, Yuzi bhai sexy." The video of the same was shared by the team on their official social media.
"The chant has made its way from the stands in Pune to the dressing room. ??? #RoyalsFamily | #HallaBol | #SRHvRR | #reelkarofeelkaro | #reelitfeelit | #explore," the video has been captioned.

Talking about the match, SRH chose to field first but conceded 210 runs after they failed to make early inroads. Sanju Samson was the highest run-scorer for RR, scoring 55 from 27 balls. For SunRisers, impressive performances came from Umran Malik (2/39) and Aiden Markram (57*), the latter of whom scored his maiden fifty in IPL cricket.
Hyderabad will next play Lucknow Super Giants on April 4, who have had a losing start to their IPL journey. Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals will meet Mumbai Indians at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai for their next match.
