5. Chennai were blown by some Trini power

In what is touted as the El Clasico of the IPL, Mumbai Indians’ Kieron Pollard single-handedly destroyed the opposition to snatch a win from an almost impossible situation. Chennai had posted 218/4 and even got a few wickets early but the West Indies cricketer scored an 87 from 34 balls to help his side to a memorable win. The match had looked dead and buried at one stage but Pollard started a big-hitting show and brought them back into the match. He smashed 6 fours and 8 sixes but most importantly took a double off the last ball to ensure that the celebration will happen in the dressing room of the Blue and not their rivals in Yellow. Earlier, he had also scalped a couple of wickets with the ball and was clearly the show stopper that evening at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.
